Where have we been?

I'm sorry we've been a little busy lately with the impending holidays. In addition, i'm a full-time student and Jared works full-time so we haven't had a lot of time to post. But we're here now and we would like to share the things we have done over the months:

We had our gutters replaced back in October because many areas around the house had old rusty gutters or had no gutters at all. Much better!

We added some solar lights outside to add some ambiance at night.

We changed out our orange pillows for some green ones and added a red feather wreath on the wall

 We finished painting the wall in the dining room and hung our curtains

 We put up our faux christmas tree with our blinking led lights. 

We added some lighted garland, silver reindeer candleholders and stockings to the mantel.

I took a vase and added a variety of ornaments….

….tied a red ribbon around the lamps to add a little holiday color.

…bought a tinsel tree at the dollar tree as well as some jingle bells that we put in a vase

We put some pinecone potpourri in a bowl with some dollar tree jingle bells. 

There you have it! Now you're up to date on our past few months. We look forward to installing trim and quarter round on the main level, tiling the entryway and hearth and finishing the painting in the hallways.
