Diy Coffee Scrub

I have another scrub for you guys. This time it's a coffee body scrub. For those of you who don't already know, coffee has many natural properties that help the skin such as moisturizing, firming, exfoliating, and brightening. With the addition of olive oil this scrub will leave your skin feeling soft and rejuvenated.

Here's what you need:
-1 cup of sugar (white or brown)
-5 tbsp coffee grounds
-1/4 cup olive oil
-1 tsp peppermint extract
-1 tsp vanilla extract
- 8 oz. mason jar

Note: I suggest you use brown sugar if you have sensitive skin as the granules are less coarse.

1 cup sugar (brown or granulated)

Add 5 tbsp ground coffee to sugar…..

 …..mix together

Add 1/4 olive oil to sugar/coffee mixture and mix thoroughly

Next, add 1 tbsp peppermint extract and….

 ….1 tbsp vanilla extract

 mix thoroughly….

….then spoon scrub mixture into your mason jar

There you have it your very own coffee scrub! Enjoy :)

DIY Moisturizing Hand Scrub

I don't know about you but when the weather starts getting colder, my hands get dry and cracked. This scrub is the perfect thing to revitalize those parched hands; it exfoliates, cleans, and moisturizes. Best of all it's super easy to make! Jared comes home from working with motor oil and this stuff works miracles! So I can say this is a great multi-purpose hand scrub that we love and we will be gifting it for the holidays.

So here's what you need:
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 tbsp Dawn Olay Hand Renewal Dish Soap
  • 8 oz. mason jar
  • measuring cup
  • measuring spoon
  • small mixing bowl
  • spoon

The 8 oz. mason jar

Combine 3/4 cup white sugar with 2 tbsp Dawn dish soap

 Mix together

This is what yours should look like after mixing
(If it's too thick feel free to add a little more soap)

Spoon the mixture into mason jar

Tada! There you have it your very own moisturizing hand scrub!

Use hand…..
 Or spoon…whatever you prefer! Enjoy

Note: I recommend putting on your hands before wetting them, so it doesn't get soupy.
